款銘「有阪造」圓角直章，是有坂工房最早的印章，最早可以追溯到1790-1800 年。
此壺鐵材老舊，形制典雅。壺身雖非原漆，卻也在漫長時光中褪去了新氣，散發柔和古意。自然的尾垂設計，顯然是上世紀配合火盤的舊物。
壺肩有雷紋，雷紋源於中國商周青銅古紋，古時象徵雷動天機、潤澤萬物，寓意生生不息；雷紋下方三角形紋，是垂葉紋；壺身下方亦再有一圈同款雷紋。
這鐵瓶壺將幾何雷紋以立體工藝融入鐵瓶，線條沉厚古樸，展現出獨特的金石氣韻，難得的百年老壺！
Arisaka Geometric Pattern Iron Kettle
Marking: Rounded rectangle stamp with "Made by Arisaka" (有阪造 ). This is the earliest known seal of the Arisaka workshop, dating back to 1790 - 1800.
This kettle features aged ironwork and an elegant form. Although the surface finish is not original, the harshness of the new patina has mellowed over centuries, radiating a soft, subtle antique charm. The natural drooping spout/tail design clearly indicates it was an old utensil crafted in the previous century to accommodate traditional charcoal braziers (hibachi).
The shoulder is adorned with a thunder pattern (meander pattern), derived from ancient Chinese Shang and Zhou dynasty bronzes. In antiquity, the thunder pattern symbolized the stirring of celestial energy and the nourishing of all living things, carrying the auspicious meaning of endless rebirth and vitality. Below it lies a band of hanging leaf patterns (triangular motifs), echoed by another matching ring of thunder patterns near the base.
This piece masterfully integrates three-dimensional geometric thunder patterns into cast iron. With its deep, understated lines and distinct bronze-and-stone artistic resonance, it stands as a truly rare, centuries-old masterpiece.
